Divorce Coach Services
In
the role of divorce coach, Sherri meets with her client to assist with managing the strong emotions that often cloud the ability to
make sound decisions. Sherri is available to
her client(s) throughout the entire divorce process. Sherri may work as a neutral coach meeting with both spouses together or as an individual coach in a two coach model of a mediation, collaborative or litigated divorce . Some of the goals in coaching sessions are to identify and address the issues that are most important to each spouse, to manage strong emotions, to work towards meeting the needs of the entire family, to improve communication and learn to co-parent in cooperative ways.
Child Specialist Services
As
a child specialist in either a mediated or collaborative divorce, Sherri acts in a neutral capacity in order to advocate for the children and provides parents with information and assistance in order to address their children's concerns and needs
Litigated Divorce Services
Sherri functions as a divorce coach for one of the parties offering support, educational information about the emotional aspects of the divorce process and helping her client manage intense emotions. She works collaboratively with her client's attorney in order to provide the client the best possible array of services.
Sherri also often serves as family therapist in litigated divorces. She provides clients the opportunity to address concerns and to strengthen relationships between the children and both parents. Sherri is in close contact with guardians ad litem assigned to the children.

Parenting Coordination Services
Sherri works with high conflict post-divorce or never married parents in order to ensure that parenting plans are followed and to assist parents with making sound decisions for their child(ren).The goal is to avoid further litigation and create a more cooperative co-parenting relationship in order to meet the needs of their child(ren) in the healthiest possible manner.
